Every single work process is monitored under the guise of “tracking”, which is sold as something positive. Managers know exactly how much time is spent for example on reading/writing emails during the day or week. Depending on the manager, the request to further reduce his NPT (non-productive time) comes. There is constant pressure from numbers that have to be achieved. In addition, permanent tracking on multiple platforms eats up working time and is therefore a stress factor itself.

Less monitoring and bullying of employees would reduce stress enormously. At the same time, work performance would be more likely to increase through appropriate payment, instead of relying on monitoring and fear here as well.
